Muchen (Munich) Oktoberfest before the big event.

Muchen (Munich) Germany is the home to the best know, and likely the largest, Oktoberfest in the world. Preparations start well before the end of September when the festival begins. Here are picture of the tent frames being set up in July. Even theses picture don't do justice to the huge size of the Oktoberfest grounds and the number of brewers. Notice that the tents are set up on permanent foundations to make them easier to set up year after year.
