Gordon Biersch Breweries are unique, small and relatively independent even though they are part of CraftWorks Restaurants & Brewery, Inc. (Old Chicago, Gordon Biersch and Rock Bottom). Rather than large factory breweries in some warehouse district, these breweries are usually located in malls, airports and office buildings. Each location has its own personality and special brews so it always worth the time to stop in when you see one. The brew house is usually visible from the restaurant so a tour isn’t necessary.
