Alaskan Brewing Company in Juneau, Alaska.

The Alaskan Brewing Company is in Juneau, Alaska just a short bus ride from where the cruise ships dock. Getting to the brewery is simple using the public bus system. Go to the bus stop a few blocks north of the cruise ship dock at Main St. and Egan Dr. Take the bus to Mendenhall Valley (either Route 3 or 4) and get off at Anka St. (at the corner of Glacier Hwy and Anka). Get off the bus and go to the corner and take a left up Anka two blocks to Shaune Dr. Turn right and go a block to the brewery at 5429 Shaune Dr. To go back to Juneau catch the bus across the street from where you got off (either Route 3 or 4). Beth was excited to go to this brewery because, while a long time fan of Alaskan Amber, she discovered Alaskan White on the cruise ship. The White was the only beer on tap on the ship so tasting it against the others at the brewery seems like the thing to do.
